The Australian Air League is an organisation with the goal of developing air-mindedness in the youth of the community. Cadets meet on Friday nights at Warnervale Aerodrome and participate in activities year-round, such as Flying Days, Camps and various Competitions. - Congratulations to those members who attended the Hunter Wing Parade. We achieved 3rd place Wing on the March, 3rd place Flag Party on the March, 3rd place Squadron on the March and 3rd place in the Band Competition. Well Done!
Recent Events
18 June 2010 - Group Training Camp 2010
Selected members from Toukley and Gosford Squadrons attended the weekend Group Training Camp in Lane Cove along with cadets, NCOs and Officers from over 30 squadrons across New South Wales.
The participants underwent training in areas of Drill, Leadership, Administration, Instructing Skills, Customs and Courtesies, Physical Activities, Air Activities, Band and First Aid.
The members of Toukley and Gosford squadrons made an excellent representation for the Central Coast Wing with many receiving badges including two promotions.
Well done to those members who attended. I trust you all had an excellent weekend and we are already commencing selections for next years Group Training Camp.
